About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graphic designer with a strong and diverse portfolio to develop their skills and career in an exciting, global and successful development company. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Create graphic animations, static infographics, reports and multimedia content for various digital platforms;
Design and create a variety of graphic designs for brochures, proposals, event invites and other products;
Work with colleagues to conceptualise and visualise ideas that tell stories and show results and impact;
Edit and update existing brochures and external products;
Edit video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
You should be innovative, energetic, positive, and genuinely committed to achieving lasting change in their work.
Adam Smith International seeks the following skills:
Knowledge of design software: Adobe CS6 In-Design, Photoshop;
Knowledge of Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Flash and After Effects is desirable;
Knowledge of HTML, GIS and other mapping software an advantage;
Expertise in converting technical information into compelling and persuasive infographics;
Skills in typography, layout and animation;
Ability to work to tight deadlines;
Be a team player and work across a variety of teams and global projects;
Have an interest in global development and be willing to travel;
Be eligible to work in UK without a work permit.
