Last year the RSPCA opened a new charity shop in a prime spot in Bedford High Street.
The charity already has an identical shop in another part of town and it’s very successful, but the new shop needs some help to attract customers. They are looking for students to work on this project:

“We would love students with knowledge of fashion and design to give the shop and window display a complete makeover. Equally it would be great if business or marketing students could get involved with ideas to make the outlet profitable.

I stress we’re not looking for volunteers simply to stand behind a counter; we really want the flair, design and input from young people to transform this shop into a student haven in a uni town.”  – According to Sally Murrer, who is not only an RSPCA supporter but a journalist of 40 years experience too. She works for Johnston Press (which runs the Luton News and the Bedford Times and Citizen).
